Small-flowered crowfoot is a buttercup with tiny, pale-yellow flowers. Connecticut has five other buttercups with tiny flowers (Ranunculus allegheniensis, R. micranthus, R. pensylvanicus, R. recurvatus, and R. sceleratus. Distinguishing the species depends on details of leaf shape, fruit shape, and hairiness of the stem.
