Broadleaf Arrowhead
Sagittaria latifolia
Broadleaf arrowhead is the most common of seven species of arrowhead in Connecticut. Broadleaf arrowhead leaves actually vary from broad to narrow; note the different widths of leaves in the foreground of the photo below.

• Habitat: shallow water or wet soil at the edges of streams, ponds, and marshes
• Height: 1-4 feet
• Flower size: 3/4 inch across
