Botanize several trap ridge habitats on North Lamentation Mountain, in the central portion of the Fern Bruce Preserve, recently acquired by the Berlin Land Trust : glade, ridge crest, stream corridor, and vernal pool envelope. We’ll hike up to the ridgecrest via the new recently completed section of the Blue Trail, then follow the ridge to the summit, with fine views. Bring a hat, water, and a snack, and a wildflower and/or fern guide if you have one. We will provide extra magnifiers.
Park near Lamentation Road, at the Blue Trailhead, shortly after the intersection with Quail Run
