Timberlin Park contains a mixture of upland and wetland plant habitats, with trails along the banks of Harts Pond and over Short Mountain to the base of Ragged Mountain. Come explore the site with botany professor Thomas Mione, who studies Andean plants including relatives of the tomato but also brings his students to this site and others in CT. Note that a restroom is available at this site.

Directions and Parking: From Route 71 / Chamberlain Hwy, turn onto Route 364 / Southington Rd at the traffic light. Take the first right onto Don Bates Drive. Follow this through the golf course to the lot. Turn left and continue through the parking lot to the driveway that exits the parking lot (called Marjorie Moore Rd on Google Maps).
