Canada Goldenrod
Solidago canadensis
Canada goldenrod is one of Connecticut's most common goldenrods. It looks quite similar to tall goldenrod (Solidago altissima), but Canada goldenrod has greener leaves, and its stems have no hairs on the bottom third or so.
